Industrial Design
When a solution doesn't exist yet, we build it from the ground up. IEI's design capabilities allow us to develop custom structural and mechanical solutions for industrial environments, working from your requirements and constraints to produce a solution tailor-made to fit your facility and operations.
Industrial Fabrication
Fabrication is the foundation of what we do. IEI specializes in stainless steel, sheet metal, and structural steel fabrication—cutting, forming, and assembling custom components built to precise specifications. Our in-house equipment includes a plasma table and plasma pipe cutter, with a fiber laser on the way as we expand our capabilities. Common fabricated work includes mezzanines, platforms, stairs, conveyors, and structural supports, though the scope of what we build is as varied as the clients we serve.
Industrial Assembly & Installation
Building the solution is only half the job. IEI crews install on-site, working in active industrial facilities including plants, processing lines, manufacturing floors without disrupting your schedule. We handle the full scope from in-shop assembly through field installation, so there's one point of contact and one team accountable for the finished result.
Industrial Demolition
When a facility needs to be cleared, reconfigured, or decommissioned, IEI provides industrial demolition services to support the next phase of your project. Whether demolition is the first step in a larger buildout or a standalone scope, we approach it with the same precision and safety standards we bring to every job.
HVAC & Dust Collection Systems
IEI's HVAC team handles design, installation, and mechanical work for industrial and commercial facilities. From new construction to system upgrades, we bring the same build-to-suit approach to mechanical systems that defines everything else we do. Our team holds EPA Universal 608 and Class II Installation certifications, and our work meets the standards set by SMACNA, the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association.
General Contracting
From initial blueprint to final walkthrough, our general contracting services keep your project running on time, on budget, and built to last. We coordinate every moving part, including subcontractors, material acquisition, permits, and inspections. Whether you're breaking ground on a new build, tackling a large-scale facility renovation, or navigating a complex commercial project, our team brings decades of hands-on experience and a single point of accountability to every job site.
Our Safety Culture
Safety Standards That Meet The Project
Every service IEI provides, from design through installation, is backed by a safety program meeting union and OSHA standards. We maintain an in-house Safety Director, company-wide OSHA 30 training, and annual safety updates across our team. Field crews are also trained in confined space and rescue procedures, aerial lift operation, and powered industrial truck use. If your facility has its own safety requirements on top of that, we'll meet them too.
